White wines range from a pale straw color to greenish tints to a rich amber.
It is safe to say that a white wine with a brownish tint is one you will
want to pass on! Red wines ironically grow paler with age.
White and sparkiling wines should be served well chilled (approx.
45-55°F) Place a bottle in the fridge for an hour or the freezer for a
half-hour, just don't forget you put them there. An over-chilled wine is
worse than a warm wine!
Red wines can be served at room temperature. Remember, when it 90°
outside, your wine will not be at room temp. Put warm red wines in the
fridge for 20-30 mins. to cool them back down.
