Jack Nicholson goes around being all rude and OCD to people, then eventually decides he wants to be nice to Helen Hunt because she's cute. Greg Kinnear plays the gay neighbor who manages to get his ass royally kicked about midway through.

Critics fell all over themselves to praise this movie, and just about everyone got an Oscar® out of it. For our money, this flick was pretty sappy... but some of Jack's insults and one-liners save the day. When he's rude, he's funny. Then he turns nice and everything gets boring. Luckily, his "you make me want to be a better person" speech ups the romantic ante, and saves this movie for dating purposes. Ms. Hunt weighs in with a wet t-shirt on a cold day, ensuring men will pay attention throughout.
