| So the first date went well and there have been subsequent meetings. Things are looking up, the days seem a little bit easier to deal with and you are just generally happy. You have a crush! Well, we don't want to rush things or go overboard. The point here is to keep the boy, not scare him away. You are not his girlfriend...yet!
- If you want a relationship with this boy, don't give it up right away. Everyone likes a challenge and no one is going to marry you if you just fall down with your legs in the air. It is okay to kiss and cuddle, but use your judgement.
- Remember, a real gentleman will never force you into doing something you don't want to.
- Maintain your elusiveness. Plan a girl's night out every Friday. Don't spend all your time with him right away. He is a hunter and you deserve to be his prey, so keep him chasing for a while. If he doesn't call by Wednesday for a date then you are busy all weekend but might be able to meet him for coffee.
- No matter how much you want to call him, don't. If he wants to talk to you he will call. Plus you never know, what you may be intruding on: he may be watching football with his buddies and is not going to be responsive to your needs, or his ex may be on the phone and the last thing he wants to hear is nagging. Never let him see you at your worst. Make sure that your hair is always done and that you have a fresh coat of lipstick on. You want him to think of you as a princess. (It's best when he actually calls you that!)
